Theme: Getting Closer to Jesus
Many people express a desire to get closer to the Lord but wonder just how that is done. The answer is quite simple, actually, but that simplicity makes it seem too simple. It just can’t be all that we have to do, we say. Our retreat will discuss what simple things we can do and new ways we can think and understand that will lead to a closer walk with Jesus. It’s always been what God wants for us and God is always close to us and God will do all the heavy lifting. We’ve just been imagining something else, something much different and much harder! “My yoke is easy and my burden light!”
