Daily Reflection Friday of the Seventh Week of Ordinary Time

Asking the right questions can be helpful in an interview. Testing the speaker is a common occurrence, especially when a stance taken challenges the prevailing culture. Lord, we pray for the courage to ask serious questions, with good intentions, to find the deeper truth.

Jesus drew attention to fidelity, based on God's faithful love to us. He was aware that everybody did no live up to the ideal and he was compassionate in his approach. May we humbly acknowledge when we fall short and be understanding of others who do the same.
