Valentines Day Weekend Special Retreat
February 14-16, 2025Growing Together in Love and Grace
Drawing Strength from Ignatian Spirituality
”Marriage is a commitment to life, to the best that two people can find and bring out in each other.
It offers opportunities for sharing and growth that no other human relationship can equal;
a joining that is promised for a lifetime.” –Edmund O’Neill
Loyola proudly announces the return of this well-received program for a special Valentine’s Weekend Retreat; crafted for Married Couples to discover how Ignatian spirituality can enrich and guide their marriage. Over the weekend of February 14th through February 16th, Fr. Daniel Joyce, S.J., Fr. Joseph Costantino, S.J., and Beverly and Tom Delleart will aid you, your spouse and fellow married couples to explore within Ignatian spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises, the gems and the treasures for married couples.
From your arrival early on Valentine’s Day evening (registration between 4-6:15 p.m.) to bidding farewell on Sunday afternoon after the couples’ Liturgy (approximately 1:30 p.m.), you and your spouse will be encouraged to move forward with courage, openness, and generosity of spirit. Our time together will be filled with Scripture, prayer, reflection, music, group discussions, and abundant opportunity for couple private time … including surprise experiences along the way, even private reflection time gathered around the fire pit, weather permitting! As we roll up our sleeves, dive deeper, and grow through the lens of a married couple, our spirit will be dynamic with times of silence, conversation, and some good, hearty laughs together!
Make plans to attend in person today! “Growing Together in Love and Grace” offers two registration options: Residence Module includes housing for two nights, meals, and all fees at a minimum suggested donation of $595.00 per couple or a Commuter Module which includes meals and all fees (no housing) at a minimum suggestion donation of $395.00 per couple.
