Loyola announces a special Weekend Retreat newly crafted for Married Couples to rediscover their husband or wife through some of the best Ignatian spirituality has to offer! Get engaged with your spouse over the weekend of September 29 th through October 1 st. Fr. Daniel Joyce, S.J., Fr. Joseph Costantino, S.J., and Beverly and Tom Delleart will guide you and your husband or wife through gems of the Spiritual Exercises and the treasures of an Ignatian spiritual retreat for married couples.
From your arrival Friday evening (registration anytime between 4-6:15 p.m.) to bidding farewell Sunday afternoon (approximately 1:30 p.m.), you and your spouse will be encouraged to move forward with generosity of spirit, courage, and openness. Our time together will be filled with prayer, reflection, music, group discussion, and lovingly set-up time together… including some surprise experiences dreamed up for this special retreat! As we dive deeper and grow through the lens of the unity of the married couple, our spirit will be dynamic with times of silence, conversation, as well as good, heartfelt laughs together!
Make plans to attend this in person retreat! “Growing Together in Love and Grace” offers two registration options:
Stay in-house including housing for two nights, all meals, and all fees (suggested donation of $595.00 per couple).
Or, Commute to Loyola but stay at home Friday and Saturday night, having all meals and all fees - no housing (suggested donation of $395.00 per couple).
All registered couples will be invited to participate in a one-hour pre-retreat ZOOM session prior to the weekend (evening of September 22 or afternoon of September 24) for an orientation about the retreat house and provide an opporunity for your questions!
