Retreat Leader: Christine Eberle
The mid-point of Lent is a good time to re-ground our intentions for the season. What practices did you choose? Have you stuck with your resolutions, or has life gotten in the way? Were your commitments actually drawing you closer to God, or were they only helping you feel better (or worse) about yourself?
In this Day of Prayer, we will discover how to let life become its own Lenten discipline, calling us to prayer, sacrifice, and generosity through the ordinary experiences of every day.
Christine Marie Eberle passionately connects Scripture, spirituality, and everyday life. After a 26-year career as a college campus minister, Christine ended her tenure as Director of Campus Ministry at Gwynedd Mercy University in 2019 to commit to a full-time ministry of writing, speaking, and retreat facilitation. A graduate of Saint Joseph’s University (English/Theology) and Boston College (Pastoral Ministry), she is the author of Finding God in Ordinary Time and the forthcoming Finding God Abiding, each containing four weeks of daily meditations based on true stories and grounded in Ignatian spirituality.
